Main Street: Greeneville is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1983, as one of five original Main Street communities in the state of Tennessee and is part of The National Trust for Historic Preservation program that encourages economic improvement and physical renovation within a twelve block area know as historic downtown Greeneville.
